Blarney in the rain: what changes
Much of the visit is outdoors: the gardens, the climb to the top of the tower and the queue for the Stone.
Frequent rain: 10–17 rainy days a month, fewer from May to September.
At the top: you kiss the Stone in the open air, leaning out from the top of the tower.
Shelter: there’s a café in the grounds.
Queues and crowds
No time slots: you can arrive any time during opening hours.
The Stone: you climb to the top of the tower and kiss it one at a time, so when it’s busy you wait your turn.
The castle does not publish annual visitor numbers.
An hour-by-hour crowd estimate is coming later, always marked as an estimate and with its source.
