About us

Castle Pilot is an independent guide to the world’s most visited castles. We help you pick the right ticket, the right day, and skip pointless queues.

How we work

• Opening hours, prices and visitor numbers come from official, up-to-date sources, always with the year or check date.
• Weather comes from MET Norway and is calculated for the castle’s opening hours.
• Crowd estimates are labelled as estimates, with their source.
• We never publish made-up reviews or testimonials.

We are independent

We are not the official site of any castle and have no ties to their operators. The site is funded through affiliate links: here is how they work.
