Royal Alcázar of Seville

Alcázar of Seville tickets: which one to choose

The general ticket covers the palaces, courtyards and gardens. The Cuarto Real Alto, the royal apartments upstairs, costs extra.

  • Official ticket – €15.50 (€8 for over-65s and students aged 14–30; free up to age 13 with an adult). Cuarto Real Alto: €5.50 extra. Buy it online from the official Royal Alcázar website or at the Patio de Banderas ticket office from 9 am, card only.
  • Guided tour on Tiqets – from €38. Entry included, English-speaking guide, with the option to add the Cathedral and Giralda.
  • Entry ticket on Tiqets – from €21. With fast-track and audio guide app options.

Our pick: the guided tour on Tiqets. The Alcázar is a tangle of eras and styles that’s hard to read without explanations. If you prefer to explore on your own, the €15.50 official ticket is the cheapest: the official audio guide opens on your phone with a QR code.

On Mondays there’s also a free visit with limited places, booked on the official website: it sells out very fast.

Alcázar of Seville in the rain: what changes

The palaces are indoors: the Palace of Peter I, the Gothic halls, the salons and galleries.

  • Outdoors: the courtyards and above all the large gardens, which are half the visit.
  • Rain is rare: in Seville it rains on average less than one day a month from June to August, more in autumn and winter.

Queues and crowds

  • With over 2.2 million visitors in 2025, the Alcázar is one of Spain’s most visited monuments: book ahead, especially in spring.
  • The ticket office only accepts credit cards.
  • Last entry: 5 pm in winter and 7 pm in summer.

An hour-by-hour crowd estimate is coming later, always marked as an estimate and with its source.
